Production and event management services tender opportunity

We are looking to appoint an Event Manager, or Event Management Company, for the delivery of our upcoming festival Same But Different, a week-long event taking place this summer in Worcester City centre.

The contractor will oversee all production and event management aspects of Same But Different and must have a wide range of experience and expertise, ideally within an outdoor arts and urban events setting. The contractor must by dynamic, motivated and passionate.

The appointed company / person does not need to be based in Worcester full-time, but will need to travel to the city for meetings and site visits and be present for the duration of the festival in the city. A working base will be provided in the city by Severn Arts as and when required.

If you’re interested in applying for this tender, please send your proposal of no more than 3 sides of A4 in addition to budget breakdown and reference details, outlining how you meet the contract requirements as follows:

• Your specific and relevant experience of production managing and delivering multi-faceted, multi-sites outdoor festivals and events.
• Your experience of event management of delivering outdoor festivals and events for un-ticketed audiences.
• You and/or your company’s capacity to deliver within the timeframe
• Please include an outline for any additional staff or sub-contracted resources you may plan to use.
• Evidence of your commitment to mounting sustainable events.
• 2 x written referees from within the past 3 years.
• A detailed quotation with a budget breakdown for the delivery of Production and Event Management services.
